
Supplier Development Engineer
Requirements:
- Master Degree - technical, economics, business (University or equivalent)
- Experience with supplier quality management and/or logistic management
- Knowledge of technologies like Sheet Metal/Turned Parts /Electro-Mechanics/ Castings/ would be ideal
- Good knowledge of English (both in writing and speaking)
- Knowledge or interest to learn Quality Management Systems and their internal and external auditing procedures (mainly ISO/TS 16949 or QS 9000)
- Knowledge or interest to learn Supply Chain Systems
- Ability to drive results in a team environment with sense for initiative
- Experience in SAP or other ERP system is an asset
- No travel restrictions.
Major responsibilities:
- Quality support of product developing projects and strategic projects of the sourcing organization
- First supplier assessment, which includes quality, logistic and technical evaluation
- Leading and monitoring Supplier Development Planning for the commodity related suppliers, this includes quality, delivery performance and technical development
- Actively executes major supplier development programs in all three above mentioned areas, using process auditing and technical approval as a key instruments
- Support claims handling to suppliers; monitors supplier performance
- Support buyers and supplier quality technicians in solving supplier quality issues
- Responsible for releasing components for serial deliveries acc PPAP-procedure
- Coordinates and drives business breakthrough programs such as 6Sigma, Lean Enterprise, relocation programs etc with his targeted supply base.
